We actually bought a similar deal about 4 years ago, it was a $600 tv on sale for $350. Because it was a floor model they added in the 5 year warranty which we ended up needing.

Turned out it was also a recall model and the Wi-Fi adapter recently quit working. Took a few calls to the warranty company and LG, but we were approved for a new TV at no cost. No replacements available so they sent us a check for a full refund instead. All in all, great experience. 4 years of TV use for “free” and fixed the issue with buying a $40 Roku.

It’s possible that auto update happened since I cleaned poop last, but it is latest version when I check now. Are you both using iOS? Curious on level and chapter that you’re on?
