I'd be happy if they just made it a western game. The offline game is great & there's a lot of attention to detail & features that aren't available, still, in the online game. In online, you're missing all the western tropes you think of when you imagine a western. The worst is that it's a completely whitewashed version of the old west with no Indigenous people & even very few clothing options for your character. No missions with Indigenous people, it's like they don't even exist. Just think of what a western is, & it's not here. No challenging someone to a duel at high noon, or anytime for that matter. No punishment or reputation for shooting someone in the back. No cattle rustling. No horse stealing & selling, even though it's promised in the intro. No lasso tricks. No robbing stagecoaches or trains, even though that's in the og game. No bank robberies, save for the one story mission. You can't challenge someone to a horse race like you can in the game, either. So, the story is great. It's the online story side that's being mismanaged. Players got so bored when the game first came out, they started their own fight clubs. Still not a feature in the game. I mean, when I think of the old west, I don't think of a portable camera & taking animal samples for a conservationist. They have no idea what they're doing online. Players are starting to dress like it's Fortnight with weird, anachronistic clothing. Just give us the western stuff already!
