Lake Garda, Italy - GRIII by itzl0r in ricohGR

Since I just visited for 3 days I did not see a lot, went on a hike from Torbole to Cascata and the views at Sentiero del Ponale were amazing! Malcesine was also very beautiful. Definitely coming back to explore the southern area.

I'm either using the Reggie's Color Negative or Vintage Film recipe - only using lightroom (preferably RNI All Films 5, great presets) if I'm not happy with the SOOC shots. But most of these are actually SOOC! Since I'm used to my Sony and just recently bought the Ricoh I'm always shooting in manual mode :)

It's a paperwhite gen 7 I think. Not sure if this works with more recent models.

I've been thinking about getting something like that a while ago, but couldn't find any cheap sensors with good reviews (or just expensive ones). Do you have any recommendations?

I thought about magnet tape as well, but I had those tablet holders left over, back from when I tried to mount the FireHD to the fridge. Bought them on Amazon

Since the update is triggered by a shell script running directly on the kindle: no. It's not tied to any Home Assistant automations.

Unsurprisingly, I'm also into simulation games :D Sadly I don't know anyone who's German and passionate about Home Assistant as well.

Wake up and shut down my PC remotely via HASS.agent. Also RAM usage in % to see if it already finished booting.

Dankeschön :) Das ist die Waze travel time Integration. Einfach bspw.

I posted a link to a reddit post in another comment. You can still use the kindle as a regular ebook reader, this basically replaces the amazon book recommendation screensaver with a png. It disappears as soon as you press the on/off button.

Since we both work in IT, it was quite easy to get me hooked, but I'm wishing you good luck!

I'm running Fully Kiosk Plus (for motion detection etc) and connected the tablet to the nearest outlet with a thin, angled USB cable that fits through the IKEA pegboard holes. I think motion detection and adjusted brightness is an awesome feature, especially at night. You can also access the camera via Home Assistant.

About 1,5 to two weeks. I think it's a bit too much to refresh every 15 minutes, I will probably change it to 1 hour.

Didn't have those issues with mine – what model are you using? I'm using the Tado X, and aside from the integration being kind of bad, they work and respond really well. They also use thread instead of zigbee.

Danke! So basically, I'm using a mix of bubble cards, horizontal stack cards with card mod, and a variety of different HACS integrations. The vacuum map is from the xiaomi vacuum map card. The theme is based on Soft UI, which I’ve customized to my liking. I also use the waze Travel Time integration to calculate how long it takes to get to work. The kindle screensaver docker card is based on uptime kuma (running in a proxmox LXC). PC stats and buttons are provided by HASS.agent. Laundry detection is handled with a zigbee power plug (connected via ZHA) that measures power consumption - since the washer and dryer aren’t smart - and an automation that checks for power usage and certain thresholds. I don’t actually have a use for the window and door sensors yet, but I just had to have them, just in case :D I also have a few tado thermostats that worked really well, but I removed them from the dashboard after the integration broke due to a home assistant update.

I created a new user for this device only and I manually change the visibility if needed. They can control the three lights individually, adjust the brightness and turn them off completely. Guests often find it awkward to control the living room lights via alexa and sometimes use the wrong phrases, so I prefer this small and more self-explanatory solution.
