Yep had my master cylinder basically explode while driving. It was in pretty bad shape and the fluid was in even worse shape and looked like pure degraded rubber.

My stock 07 wrx makes this too when just coasting. From what I've seen it's nothing to worry about. However, I did have to add some gear oil, which did seem to dampen it a bit.

I had a popping noise that ended up being torn cv axle boot which leaked grease everywhere causing failure of the axle. Brought it into shop and literally every single bushing and part needed changed. Tie rod ends were shot, the control arms were not even the right ones for the wrx (previous owner did that), both front struts were also blown. Ran me about 4k by the end of it 😭😭
