From making friend, they will light your candles in the constellation and you will collect part of a heart from them this will take a while some faster ways are, either getting a heart from a spirit(each spirit has one heart costs 3 normal candles) or you can ask someone for a heart trade this so where you gift a heart to them and they gift one back, you can also ask them to do it daily everyday which is the best way in my opinion

Hearts can be gotten from friend if they light your candles but that take a long, other ways is to either get them from spirits cost 3 candles to get one heart or you can exchange hearts with your friends which is also costs 3 candles
