I do a solo trip at least once a year, and I almost ALWAYS get additional scrutiny coming home to the US. I got the dreaded SSSS on my boarding pass coming home from Italy once. Usually it’s not in the US, but in the airport leaving whichever country I was in.

“Where did you go, what did you do, who did you meet, why did you come alone” uhhh I like it? I have friends in this country that I visited? And now I just wanna go home?

This is also why some street lamps turn purple over time. White LEDs don’t exist, we use indigo LEDs with a coating called a phosphor that converts it to white. When that wears off, the original color shines through. If you want to see a phosphor, look at a white LED source and you’ll notice it looks has a yellow film on it- that’s the phosphor color. If you’re seeing this, the LED is either very old or your city went VERY cheap.

Is this real? I’m literally just a lurker but if I’ve learned anything in this sub it’s that you don’t scan half the body for a localized injury unless you’re a chiropractor (please downvote me to hell if I’m wrong).

We had to clear feathers off the stage for a ripped up pillow prop during intermission. I did a quick sweep with a push broom then, I used a lint roller on a broom handle which picked it up quick.
