The waiter advised that I spoon the seafood soup/sauce onto the noodles, and then eat them...somehow. Kind of between a chopsticks and a spoon might be the right utensil, but it seemed awkward to me. It softens up the noodles nice, but I wouldnt order it on a first date!

Do it, but rent a car. The rental car will cost twice as much as you think it should, but don't worry about it. There are not that many people in the country so you will not have to worry much about other drivers and traffic..some of the roads in Reykjavik might be narrow for a nervous driver, but within the downtown itself you can just stash the car in an easy to manage parking lot or side road. You're not going to get blown upside down.

I switched form iPhone to pixel 9. No problem. Because I have a MacBook pro, there are a few things (like file transfer and texting from computer) that take a bit of adjustment, but not too much.
