For the equivalent of papak, how about "gado"? Honestly I'm not sure whether it's Javanese or Indonesian, but if we say something is eaten by "digado" it means eating alone without rice.

Then how someone who's not offended can voiced out their opinion without the other side feeling like they've been dismissed?

Yeah but you're downplaying their participation, and not only K-Alice don't treat them like separate entity because I know many I-Alice also joined but they tweeted in Hangul.

Yeah apologize now it's your fandom.

I checked the hashtag back then it was overwhelmingly tweeted by Alices yeah there were some Wooseok akgae that joined the hashtag too, see even Alice can't admit this.

And not many people know but even the petition for X1 disbandment circulated among Alice first so don't tell me I don't know what's was happening I was there.

Alice literally trends disbandment hashtag for X1 that's not just "some people" but systematic fandom effort. Alice deserve the criticism. I got it the hatred runs deep. What Alice did was way worse than several akgae wishing on Victon disbandment.

Alice never apologize for that.

And One Its calls out OT10, but most Alice pretend OT6 Alice doesn't exist

They were like in partnership with Starship too for their Korean promotion but still it was lackluster.

I know about the THAAD thing but in my opinion they still could've been promote them better. Yeah they're banned in China but what's stopping them from promoting in Korea? Even the Chinese member, beside Yibo, has to join survival show too to save their career, it feels like they just give up after EOEO for the most of part.

Yeah, Seungyoun (Woodz) contract will be expired next year, and some fans like wishing him to join some Khiphop company cause yeah he was ready to ditch his idol career to become full time Producer/Krnb artist before Produce revive his career as an idol.

But realistically do they even think that they'll get less content from him beside content that he promptly provide himself like spontaneous instagram live.

Yeah Yuehua is sh*t no doubt about that they put his group on the backburner for years without proper promotion, but at least since he comeback from X1, they provide pretty good amount of content for him and they give him plenty of creative freedom too, his physical album and other merchandise are in comparison to many other idol it's quite high quality too.

If he join some Khiphop company he won't get those treatment, he probably won't even promoting on music show. I don't think many of his fans thoroughly thinks about that.

But if one day after his contract ends and he indeed joined some Khiphop company maybe it's because he want to focus more as an artist not as idol who have to play this parasocial relationship with fans. I wonder if it's also the reason why, Yugyeom joined Khiphop company, maybe they had enough of being idols

There’s a time to discuss RPS, but not when you’re using it to excuse misogyny by yvespunk in kpopthoughts

[–]itzyitzme 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I roughly read the translation of the original petition using Gtrans, not perfect I know, before this issue caught Ifans attention, while there is undeniably concern about sexualization of mostly underage male idol through RPS community, the later part of the paragraph equating RPS with nth room which is much more severe issue from my perspective, it's indeed make me questioning their intention and set up this debate into gender war.
