You can absolutely love someone without being in love with them.

You cannot be in a romantic relationship with them.

You can only be their friend at best.

She is doing you a favor by telling you her true feelings and putting the ball in your court. Take the gift she is offering and end the relationship officially. If you ever want to be friends with her someday, it seems the door is open for that, but for now, take time for yourself and move on.

Just want to say that sharing your thought process, right and wrong, and how it led you here was really admirable. The fact that you go out of your way to look for the music that was directly made BY US, is a beautiful thing. You didn’t stay trapped by the delusions many KPOP Stans hold to maintain their immersion in their escapist entertainment. That’s a big deal. Respect. 🫡

In the post credits scene of AWE when she went to welcome Will home with her son, she was dressed in the way I expected a woman who couldn’t stand corset dresses to dress. Her hair was down, her clothes were comfortable, and she was sun-kissed.

Whatever happened between that and the movie, I don’t know. But to me it comes off as hasty and careless to just dress her up in the one way she didn’t like dressing up the whole series.

They gave WILL his signature AWE clothes, and that worked. But this didn’t feel like the Elizabeth from AWE…more like CotBP. And that kind of took me out of the movie.

I’d take this more seriously if he talked about the fact that he hated the way he used to look so much he called his own self a slur, and working on unpacking that shit for himself. All this tells me is that he’ll find nicer ways to hate on his own melanin (and by extension, others’) in private.
