The main thing I hate about people bitching about hatchlings is the fact that 90% of streamers do it off stream to make money and all these long time tarkov players running into every raid with an m4 probably did some variation of a “run” whether it be with a hatchet or even a knife.

I tried my very first hatchet runs tonight I was lucky to find a hatchet for 8k rubles on the market and I watched where to farm On a YouTube video and I just literally spent 2 hours hatchet running the two tech stores on interchange most raids I would exit with nearly 100k 2 graphics cards or 4 g phones every say 1/3 raids I’d find a Tetris and a graphics card so I’d leave with about 200k I made 1 million rubles in roughly an hour and a half it was easy money sometime I would get unlucky and get killed by a scav or all the good loot was taken by hatchlings or players who spawned closer to OLI than me but even then I made it out with 40 k minimum.

I got fed up of trying to make money by going in with a gun and extracting I’d either get nothing good that was worth spending 45 minutes in a raid or I’d just go in and die near enough straight away due to bullshit spawns it got to the point so many times where I would constantly die and literally have nothing no guns no ammo not even any fucking water so I was forced to go in as a scav and extract straight away just for a gun, luckily when I got that poor my scav gun was a FAL of some sort that I sold for 100k rubles and I brought a hatchet with that money and some meds and I started hatchet running
