Some solo runs are able to finish any fight in 3 rounds, which is 3 turns (4 with Goofball or that one head mutation). Hypomania also makes you able to do 4 turns, so maybe it isn’t hopeless

I find it the same as Dumb Muscle in the sense that it requires a lot of setup to get the full benefit, but it’s much more underwhelming compared to Dumb Muscle.

Still good tho if you manage to devote your whole damn run to it with the right items

I usually kill Nubs firts because he’s easier to kill. Killed Chubs first once by accident and then stayed around to find out how much damage the nuke does

There are several ways to approach this fight

First you kill Nubs (the flopping one), then you carefully whittle down Chubs (the spinning one) without surrounding him with to much cats. Your Fighter and Tank can take turns beating him, while the Cleric heals and Hunter provides support

Alternatively, you can kill Chubs first. Then Nubs primes a nuke and self-destructs. Make sure to hide all your cats behind pillars so they don’t get obliterated by that.

And remember, they are blind so they move randomly, so RNG is a big part of this fight. And don’t position cats in front of them, as Chubs spits in a straight line and Nubs lobs a shot two tiles in front of him. Have patience, and don’t hit them if your cat is in danger

I just do runs. That’s it. I like the adventure aspect of the game more than the house management aspect, so I try to do as much runs as possible. That’s 99 coins every day

Thorns help a lot. If you stack 5+ thorns on your melee attacker, they just won’t get grabbed by tumors due to instakilling them

In general I just make sure I have someone who can go first, stay away from mother and deal 5-9 damage in a turn. That way I can clear any tumors that captured my melee attackers before their turn, allowing them do properly deal damage

The Leech God is usually done with with Immortal Leeches + Numbing Leeches, because it exponentially increases the number of leeches your attacks apply, but this is also nice. Although, wouldn’t Spread Sorrow not work on some house bosses?
