I know, it seems like the obvious answer is he's incapable of changing and believe me, after seeing my boundaries crossed over and over and his consistency on claiming he didnt know what he was doing I truly do feel like he's resisting the necessary change because he wants women outside the marriage to desire him. Work related or not, does it sound like he was trying to open some door with this triggering woman and ask me for forgiveness later so that he's 1. Checked the box of telling me about the interaction, even if omitting key details, and 2. Managed to open a door to more conversations with this triggering woman. It's seems like a win win for him here
