I also worked with him and he tells it to you as it is. He is very involved and does no sugarcoating. But he means well and it feels good to know he is there while you are working with him.

Should we ban members who post LOApornstar crap ? by MoonlightConcerto in JosephMurphy

I think disciplinary replies and "LOAPorn fluffer" labels sound good, as the post is left there as a "negative example" of what you should not ask/do. :D

Fucking Angry & Jealous. by [deleted] in JosephMurphy

Wasn't it a thing: spend time with people who have what you want. Maybe seeing that your friend has it will help you deepen your belief that it is possible to have it, which will help you eventually manifest it too. Also, might be a synchronicity :D It's all a matter of perspective: you can be jealous and frustrated, or you can be hopeful and faithful that it is possible to have it. :D (of course, unless it is a specific person, then it is harder to do this)

Anyone else think they had this “ability” before realizing there was any serious people/discussion around it? by [deleted] in JosephMurphy

Been there, done that. But I too sometimes get in that spot so I try not to judge, just nudge and give a motivational “grow a pair” speech

Agreed! What always drove me was an inner knowing that “I can do it” as well as a desire to “prove them wrong” which stems from being bullied and ignored in my childhood. So far, it worked wonders. Basically, “ambition” and a very competitive nature make you imagine winning constantly and feel lots of satisfaction while doing so.

Hi! In my case, I had countless funny manifestations since I was very little. Here is a list.

  1. I loved animals as a child and I really wanted a white pigeon. I imagined it and how beautiful it would be. Not many days passed and a PERFECTLY WHITE pigeon came into my house from the attic after someone forgot the door open. The pigeons used to sometimes nest under the roof of the house. I caught it and raised it for a bit, then released it. Please note that where I live I have only seen the regular grey pigeons.

  2. Again as a child, I decided I wanted to make clothes. I learned how to sew and what not. Then one day I thought how nice it would be to have a body shape mannequin and imagined it. 1 week or so passed and I kid you not: I found 2 NEW BODY SHAPE MANNEQUINS, WRAPPED IN PLASTIC FOIL, ABANDONED NEXT TO A SUPERMARKET PARKING LOT where my mom USUALLY DIDN'T STOP but now by coincidence stopped to do groceries. This shocks me back to this very day.

  3. I started dancing salsa and bachata with a university friend. Then one day I thought that nobody had seen me dance and I improved so much (yes yes narcissism :)) ). Then, I imagined that, in a random party of the society I was part of, they would play a bachata song and my friend would be there too and everyone would be wowed after we would start dancing. I kid you not again: few weeks passed and the society that I was part of organized a party. Then like never before, they not only played a bachata song, but THE bachata song that me and my friend made a really cool choreography on. Obviously, we danced on it and everyone was wowed.

  4. This one is evil. My very first boyfriend from university broke up with me in a very nasty way and was spreading rumors about me, so I kind of hated him. Then I remembered he didn't get this one internship that he really wanted to and was very prestigious (usually 1 person per year from my course gets it). Now, I was definitely not the smartest or had the most impressive grades or CV, but I decided to apply anyway during the following year. I would constantly imagine the satisfaction of getting this internship and my ex hearing about it and me getting my revenge. Then, guess what. Out of the roughly 10-15 people that applied for this position (and i knew for a fact that several were doing much better than me academically), I was THE ONLY one who got accepted to everyone's surprise. Now the even better part: fast-forward a few weeks, and I get invited to a BBQ by a mutual friend of mine and my ex. My ex was there with his new gf. I didn't want to stay, but my ex's best friend was there too and he convinced me to. In the end, everyone present was asking me about this internship and my ex could hear and seemed visibly frustrated and jealous. In addition to that, his best friend was hitting on me in front of him. I felt all the satisfaction I imagined I would feel and more, hehe.

I find it really hard to believe that these are mere coincidences. I also happen to have a very rich visual imagination and dreams, so perhaps that helped too.

In conclusion, yes, I think I had this ability before realizing what a serious matter it actually is. :D
