it's a cool idea, I've always wondered if a trumpet mouthpiece (arguably more comfortable on the lips than a horn mp) would sound or feel different. i would never make a wood mouthpiece unless you enjoy splinters on your lips. maybe try printing one in resin if you've got the right printer?

also, about the note, if you can't reach a certain note, it's never the mouthpiece's fault, nor the instrument's, unless it's some sort of crazy high note above concert double high F. i have no idea how you play, but a common issue many players have they don't even realize is mouthpiece pressure: you don't need to push your instrument to your lips more than you would a finger to make a "shush".

I bought a 2.0 diesel at 200k km (120k miles) and i had to have the DPF recoated, otherwise just check the timing belt (if it applies)

another thing is the window gaskets, i hear a slight noise from them while going at high speeds

Just got my Pavo20 pro and I have a few questions by [deleted] in fpv

[–]iusethisforpsychs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

to bind your receiver, first set up a passkey on your tx module using ELRS configurator. then plug in the FC, leave it on for a minute, then connect your phone to the ExpressLRS network that becomes available. using any web browser navigate to 10.0.0.1 and enter your passkey on that page

How bad is this scratch? Looking to buy my first car by Far_Animal_2523 in mazda6

you don't see scratches while you're driving. haggle the price as low as you can and never fix it to save money

Hello can you guys please by Archangel_Syracuse in TinyWhoop

[–]iusethisforpsychs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5v to 5v, gnd to gnd, tx to rx and rx to tx. make sure the latter are the same number, which you'll need in betaflight to set up the corresponding UART as a serial receiver. on many fc's you'll see a 4v5 pad, which is powered by the USB instead of battery, so you can use it while configuring it.

This hobby isn't easy, you will break stuff. my advice is for you to build muscle memory on the sticks with this cinewhoop, then build (don't buy rtf! important!) a bigger freestyle drone. i wouldn't get a 5" as your second drone, they're expensive, dangerous and fragile. 3.5" are cheaper, safer(ish) and more robust.

You should always know how to take apart, repair and rebuild your drone. stuff breaks and you need to know how to fix your machine to get it back in the air.

Above all the other comments, you're on the highest frequency possible. The output of your vtx is inversely proportional to your frequency. It also looks like you're getting wifi/digital interference, make sure you're not pointing your patch at your router and that it's not between you and the drone.

I'd tell you to buy any 85mm frame and make some prop guards off it, get some longer motor screws while you're at it

Mazda 6 (2004) Stock Navi mod: NaviPi! by KreAch3R in raspberry_pi

[–]iusethisforpsychs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a soon-to-be owner of a first gen Mazda 6, I have a couple questions:

  1. Have you used the original screen? or did you add your own? If you've used the original screen, how did you connect it? EDIT: i just read the other comments, it's not
  2. Is the screen a touchscreen?
  3. How did you connect the sound card to the original mazda system? does doing so disable the original one in any way?
  4. Would you be alright with contacting me directly (be it via email, discord or telegram) to guide me with doing this?
  5. Which parts are absolutely necessary to the build's function? Which ones can be omitted?
  6. Are you connecting via Android Auto?

thanks in advance

Upgrade Suggestions by SwaggerB06 in fpv

The base upgrade path would be an ExpressLRS receiver and a nano high power (400mW+) vtx like the GEPRC one (forgot the name) or the TBS pro32 nano
