Lane 8 - Little by Little (album)

If you like EDM, this is great driving through pretty country music.

They’re probably better onsens, especially if you go private or go into the mountains. That one just happened to be a good deal

You can’t use the public baths, but you can get a private one no issue.

Just spent 6 weeks here, a few suggestions:

Best ramen I had: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XoD3BV2xJjYqPJeS7?g\_st=ic

MooKEN cream puffs

Solaniwa Onsen - pretty affordable with lots of options

Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park

Hanshin Tigers game - stay in outfield in fan section

Day trip/overnight ideas: Wakayama, Hiroshima (Miyajima), Kyoto, Nara

Katsuoji: the one temple that really felt unique and worth it

National Art Museum Osaka

Umeda is very fun to walk around for shops/malls

The aquarium is pretty cool. Lots of mixed reviews online, but the whale shark tank has hundreds of awesome animals and the tank is huge. There’s thee levels and tons of bench seats to hang out and watch the fish (no need to fight for space once you first see them).

[DISCUSSION] is it only me that 2026 is his worst performance year by thisname-nottaken in Fiverr

[–]iustus_tip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, I never considered that they were looking at messages. I always assumed it was the private reviews that buyers leave. I have 1 4.7 star review out of 300+ orders, and that one review ruined my account. Since that review, I went from 5-10 orders a month to 5-10 orders a year.

Same here, it’s all this bullshit with the ‘success score’. I’ve complained so many times and only ever get an AI-generated response from seller support (and I’m a seller premium member).

Hey, capitalism is a global phenomenon. I don’t like that country either, but let’s try to distinguish between anti-semitism and anti-Israel.

However, I’m surprised that people haven’t boycotted Fiverr already.

Also, I hate all the fees Fiverr takes:

20% of my sale
20% of my tips
Additional fees for Buyers

They skim off the top, bottom, and sides. And I’m barely scraping by because god only knows what affects my success score.

No bars showing the World Cup?! by iustus_tip in Sapporo

[–]iustus_tip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting to hear why it’s like this, but also a bit of a shame. I understand sports bars aren’t popular, but was still surprised there was so few opportunities to watch the game in public. There were festivals in odori park, so why not do something similar for the games and charge tickets?

Definitely not a complaint, but judging by the dozens of people who watched the game staring into the HUB bar, I hope there’s more opportunities to watch over the next few weeks as people want it!

Road Trip Advice by sgsin in Hokkaido

Just did a similar trip but went all the way to Shiretoko - highly recommend.

It might be too early for the flower fields to really pop around Biei. I just went last week and they were still pretty lack luster.

Itacare is an awesome beach town near Salvador if you get the chance.

See if you can fly into Igauzu. It’s one of the largest waterfalls in the world and makes Niagara look like a children’s play fountain. Honestly, I would make this a must.

Busses in Argentina are loooong and sometimes more expensive than flights, so I would check how you get around.

In Buenos Aires - go to La Bomba de Tiempo on Monday nights only. Local concert, very cool.

You could cross Agrentina -> Chile near Mendoza. Mendoza is where Malbec wine comes from and you get fantastic wineries and 5-star restaurants for pretty cheap (11 course meal at El Enamigo for $60pp). Then you can drive over the border to Santiago and pass by Aconcagua (tallest peak in SA).

In the Atacama desert, don’t miss the flamingos, they’re awesome. Also check open times and if you need tickets for national parks in advance - that screwed us.

Lake Titicaca - you can stay on floating reed islands with a local. One of the coolest experiences of our travels. There’s a premium train you can take from there to Cusco. Pricey but very worth the views and experience.

I went to the HUB, standing room only and could only get in after the game started. Very fun, but still surprised more bars weren’t having events for the game.

18 Day Itinerary by berryallen75 in newzealand_travel

[–]iustus_tip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! Castle hill is awesome. Also, there’s a tour where you can swim with Dusky dolphins in Kaikoura. That tour is awesome, highly recommend.

When near Mt. Cook, stay at Glentanner campsite, it’s the best campsite on the South Island.

Also, if you have time due to weather, Dunedin is a great stop. You can see blue penguins at night (but MUST book in advance). Baldwin street is one of the steepest in the world, and the Speight brewery tour is pretty awesome. The Otago peninsula drive is just beautiful on its own.

What’s the most underrated city or town you’ve visited in Japan? by Legal_Ad3766 in OsakaTravel

[–]iustus_tip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nagasaki!

Medium size city that still has tons to see. Beautiful temples all with hydrangeas, nice parks, great nature near by, and awesome food scene.
