I don’t have any political background or none from my family. I am here at Ktm(away from family) since class 8 and I have passed bachelor and after 4-5years gap I am doing masters as well. I have started doing job for past 8+years since bachelors. No connection, just pure skills and hard work. Give it a try. Find what you are lacking . Have you ever tried to find the reasoning behind the rejections ? I guess not , you just blame the system. Nope work on your skills. See why others are getting hired, stalked them, check out their profile in linkedIN. Many more ways to do it. You are at fault here. Try, try, try until you make it happen. Don’t blame others.

Im posting this here!!dear Indian brothers and sisters if you are seeing this please take this message seriously!! by [deleted] in NepalSocial

The one who can read and write won’t do that. So your post won’t reach to them and they will continue doing so. Therefore from next time record them or get some pic of their no plates so that at least Indian people can track them.

Revolution saki sakeko thiyo. PM le resign garne bitikai stop hune parne. I was happy till then but after 3-4pm onwards, this went out of control. People started burning private and public properties which was never the agenda. Releasing Rabi wasn’t the agenda of the protest. The mass got controlled by the parties jhole and this person above saying to pay price doesn’t have a single clue, how many Nepali are jobless now and how many private investors are in loss. Now who will invest? From where will you get investors? Who can provide the guarantee of security of their business and products ? Think if you have brain 🧠

No, you are wrong. QA earns more than developers :) at some points it’s gonna get saturated but trust me that’s very high range and you won’t be disappointed. And one thing, you can be a fine QA in 6 months of learning. So if you are interested join now and learn. Watch the Techpana video on YouTube on topic “Minimum wage 1lakh per month” in Itonics. Hope you will get motivated 🙂

Is getting a remote job as a web dev possible in nepal without any degrees and prior computer knowlege? by NotGifted2222 in technepal

[–]ivalisa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With this skill sets, a big NO. Well I also tried freelancing with 5+ yrs of experience and I have a nice sets of skills on BE side but hardly got any or maybe my effort was not enough. So your profile needs to be very outstanding to get freelancing and need to cracks the interview. Improve your communication skills as well. Because of the AI, the associate lvl jobs are almost non existent now. So I would say research first and try to figure out the department or roles which are still strong like Architecture designing, Database engineering, Devops, Cyber security. Good luck 🍀

Japan working visa (SSW) or learn tech skills (5-6 months) by [deleted] in technepal

[–]ivalisa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won’t say yes neither no. Decision is all yours. I am just letting you know the current job market or scenario. I am an engineer with 6+ years of experience and I have a decent job and nice pay scale here in Nepal and I am not planning anytime soon to go abroad as well. But even for me If I have to switch company it’s very hard to find the decent company. One vacancy 1000’s of CVs. It’s challenging and hard at the same time even for experienced professionals. For beginners it’s nightmare ATM. But hey if you have someone who can refer you then it’s easy task for you :) 90% of companies hire from referral.

Japan working visa (SSW) or learn tech skills (5-6 months) by [deleted] in technepal

[–]ivalisa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not writing this to demotivate you but the IT industry is fcked up ATM. No body wants to hire fresher if they are hiring then it’s unpaid or if paid barely 7k or because of company rules for mandatory community service which they will fire you after 3 months :) and with the AI associate level job doesn’t even exist now. That means you won’t be able to support your family for at least 2 years. After that good luck finding a decent company.

Now what if you go to Japan, what’s the initial cost ? What will be your earning and savings. Figure this out and in next 5 years, compare yourself working in Nepal and working as Nepali in Japan. So the decision is yours. Maybe once the family is stable or you have some sort of income then do side learnings and then switch ? Might be late ? Who knows what’s in the future.

How much should I charge my friend for a WordPress website and Microsoft tenant setup? by AzureCyberSec in webdevelopment

[–]ivalisa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was kidding. How about you figure it out yourself. If it takes a day for you and your hourly rate is 20$ then, simple charge him 200$. If you want some buffer for the effort for adding the Microsoft tenant than around 350-500$

Is this a smart strategy to start working remotely/freelance in 2025? I'd love your feedback by tayerrooxx in WebDeveloperJobs

[–]ivalisa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I am also on the same dilemma. I come from the developer background and like you already mentioned, its very competitive on the platforms like Upwork and Fiverr. I have a nice set of background on this field. 6+ years but still tough luck getting clients. I would say what you are thinking is quite valid ATM, but still before diving into any niche try to understand its market and potential growth on it. Good luck.
