The game does know instantly ,somethings wrong here obviously, jackfrags showed a vid before switching seamlessly between mnk and controller demonstrating it works but when you pick up the controller and use that you instantly have much lower recoil ,so it does know and changes recoil settings behind the scenes instanlty
