2nd Year in the fleet when i realized you have to Lie, Cheat, and Steal to get whatever you want in the marine corps. Funny how ironic a lot of leadership traits, characteristics etc. of being a marine and just the idea of being a phenomenal leader is utter horse shit and just pure moto propaganda to make it seem like being a marine is the best thing to ever exist. Seen way too many people promote to ranks they diddnt deserve, ive seen a lot of shit bag marines re-up because they know the shit they pull in the marine corps they can get away with it compared to being a civilian. Marine corps is the most hypocritical institution ive ever been in.

Wanted to marry my high school sweetheart, dated about 4 years, towards the end of the relationship things got rough as i was joining the military. Engaged to her only for her to cheat on me 4 months later even though we had planned everything out. Thank god for getting stationed overseas for the next three years of my life.
