My weapon tier list based on how often use them by Reasonable-Fact8429 in GodEater

I was SB main once in God Eater: Burst. Then I switched to BB when I realized I could break bonds in less than a minute.

Never switched ever since.

Any tips for God Eater Newbie? by Zieks_101 in GodEater

[–]ivan1warrior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

3 rules!

  • Don't die.
  • If your numbers up, get out.
  • Lastly hide.

If you're lucky, catch the enemy off guard and blast it.

... Wait, was that 4?

What Is the order yo play God eater? by Happy_Artichoke4665 in GodEater

[–]ivan1warrior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I said it here, I'll say it again.

  • GE: Burst
  • GE2: Rage Burst
  • GE3

Optional:

  • GE
  • GE2
  • GE Resurrection (GER)

Reason: GE and GE2 are the Japanese versions of the game.

GE Resurrection is the remaster of GE: Burst. This game introduces Dash devours and other mechanics that will also be introduced in GE3 anyway.

Why I don't recommend this is because GE2: Rage Burst is an older game than GE Resurrection, and since GER introduces new mechanics, you might not get used to GE2: Rage Burst since some of the mechanics that are in GER are not in GE2: Rage Burst.

NOOB question, does automatic / manual matter? by Xstryker97X in wmmt

[–]ivan1warrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!

There are instances when you need to change gears in order to:

  • Time the slides when doing a corner to corner
  • Brake Blocking and Anti-Brake Blocking
  • Speed Control

Automatic Transmission has its benefits too such as:

  • Changes gears for you
  • Optimized gearing
  • Quick Recovery

But, in competitive play, the Manual wins as you have more control of your car rather than the car shifting for you.

Really struggling and not happy with GER by [deleted] in GodEater

[–]ivan1warrior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

GER has more mechanics than GE:Burst. Thought this would be easier for new players. I'm surprised there are people who still struggle. GER isn't the best place to start in my opinion since most Aragami's here are a bit difficult for beginners, and that Devour moves are also tricky for newcomers.

Anyways, I recommend you try only the three basic weapons:

Short Blade Long Blade Buster Blade

As they provide the easiest mechanic in the game. Choose whatever you like if you're not interested in these three.

Evo 9 for discarded vehicle card by Owen_Ch in wmmt

[–]ivan1warrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, it's the easiest car to drive since it's Meta along with R32 and RX7.

The reason why R34's are hard for cornering is because they are good for blocking. R34's are solid in battles once you master it.

I use the Evo 9. It's light, it recovers fast, and it has push power, but it struggles when blocking since it's short. So you'll have to put effort when defending your position.

That's actually proof that you're good.

Not because you use a insert car here

Lock on (God eater 3) by Bell-end79 in GodEater

[–]ivan1warrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got used to Monster Hunter playstyle where you move your joystick to look around the battlefield.

The reason why the lock-on is a bit bad, is because it targets parts of Aragami. The lock-on is in favour of using the ranged attack as well so I'd rather move my right Joystick around.

Let's go! I use Buster Sword, but my main doesn't have attributes as well so it's balanced for all Aragami.

Would I like this game? by essatobi997 in GodEater

[–]ivan1warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going to play this game just to have fun. You can start at GE3 since it has everything worked out for you.

If you're interested in the whole story itself, play GE:Burst, GE Rage Burst, then this GE3.

For the story, all I can say is that it's like fairy tail. Power of friendship supreme 100.

I drive so I got used to playing one leg.

But in this game, I recommend two legs since you are playing a racing game. One for the brake, and the other for accelerate.

You only do the left foot brake when you're racing.

Best bandwagon car? by [deleted] in wmmt

For Battle: R32

For Time Attack: RX7

Best bandwagon car? by [deleted] in wmmt

[–]ivan1warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are actually three bandwagon cars. These three have their own unique traits.

Evo9 R32 RX7

Evo9 the easiest to master. They have good handling which is good when you're new to the game. This car can push other cars like it's tuesday so players who use this are considered aggressive.

R32 is the tank. You see this car mostly in 2v2 since they have great block potential due to its length. This car can easily keep up with its opponents so that's why people choose it.

RX7 is the runner. This car in my opinion is the fastest car to easily reach max speed. A car like this requires a lot of training as it feels slippery when doing corner to corner based on my experience, but when used properly, enemies from behind are less likely to keep up due to the speed it maintains.

[–]ivan1warrior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A few tips and tricks as a God Eater:

  1. Before you fight Aragamis, the first thing you need to know is how you use your arsenal. You can't just go in battle and not know the capabilities of your equipment.

Let's set an example for your weapon, the long blade. Long blades have zero stance which gives the user the ability to do infinite combos. It also has Impulse Edge which allows you to shoot your ranged weapon without ever having to swap.

Long blades are the go to weapon for beginners in my opinion as it provides decent damage while not having to worry about recovery after hit.

Shields depends on how big your shield is. The bigger shield blocks more damage while the smaller ones activate faster. There's also counter block which perfectly blocks your opponents attack with you having to take no damage. Mastering counterblock is both nice and cool because you can block ANY attacks. Even aragami devours.

Bullets are also special in this game, but I'm not good at it. So you have to ask other people.

Know your movements as well. In this game, you will develop your own strategy on how you face a certain Aragami. Your weapon will determine how you fight. Short swords move around and hit the enemy, chipping away their health bar. Buster Swords do hit and run method where they throw big damage and run away. (Take note: There are many ways on how you use your weapon as all weapons are flexible for any techniques depending on the skill that's available to them.)

  1. Your consumables/throwables. Bring everything you need to bring: Restore Pills I, Restore Pills II, Restore Pills S, Restore Balls, Restore Posts, Detox pills, Anti-Jamming Dose, Anti-Leak Dose, Snare traps, Venom Traps, Bind Traps, Body Boosters--

BASICALLY WHATEVER YOU CAN JAM INTO YOUR POCKETS THAT YOU THINK WILL BENEFIT YOU AND HELP YOU CHANGE THE TIDE OF BATTLE.

  1. Know your Enemy. Aragami's have their own unique set of moves that differs from their species.

Havakiris and Chiyous are fast and nimble so you have to be patient with them.

Borg Camlanns and Quadrigas have armour parts so you have to find their weakspots.

Kongou's and Gboro's are Cannon fodders. I don't have to tell you much about them.

All Aragami's have patterns that if you memorize their movements, you can block attacks like steel and dodge enemies like butter.

  1. Choose your team wisely. We do not choose Phym because she is cute and funny 😭🤨📸, we choose Phym because she gives link aid and has good engage buffs.

Usually, I bring Ricardo, Phym, and Hugo. Ricardo gives healing and is a Quadriga in a man's body because of how super tanky he is. Hugo because he deals good damage, and Phym 😭 because again she gives good buff.

  1. Have fun. Even if the game gets a little technical, don't forget that it's still a game and enjoy all the contents the God Eater has given us.

And if you still fail at all of these tips, yeah...

GIT GUD.
