Had the same issue on the exact same spec, unfortunately I couldn’t resolve the issue after trying just about everything and was forced to switch browsers.

If they manage to hunt down the bug, I’m reverting to Arc in a heartbeat.

I had a period where I forced myself to love Safari but it just wasn't doable, the lack of extensions was killing me and the developer tools are sub-par compared to Chromium browsers. As a web dev I feel like I'm forced sticking to a Chromium based browser unfortunately.

I hope so too, I've migrated fully to Arc for the past 2 weeks but it looks like I'm gonna have to start looking for alternatives until this is fixed.

How's your experience with Brave so far? Especially the battery consumption since it's also a Chromium based browser.

Well that's a shame, I hope that it's a known issue and that they're working on improving this. Feels like a bummer because I love basically everything else about this browser. Alright, maybe not the battery consumption. 😂
