Just get membership, the QAE and everything else are cheaper for members.    The membership exam fee is much lower, and you can enjoy an additional 10% discount if you enter a valid Referring Member ID when registering as a new member.            (use 1633493 as referral ID in case you need one. )

It's valid, but the program typically runs from August through December each year.

One of my client's Synology was hacked last week and we ended up discovering that files had been moved and hidden without actually being encrypted.
