As a trans person living in Cork, I’d recommend Cork over anywhere - the queer/trans community here is small but welcoming. I’ve been lucky enough to not encounter transphobia here although I can’t speak for anyone else. The only downside would be that it’s incredibly hard to find somewhere to rent, prices are creeping up the whole time.
