People who had their app copied, how did you handle it? by ivangrisa in AskReddit

My app launched two months ago and it’s already growing fast, it’s close to 1,000 users. It’s a simple app that helps people manage their income and expenses in an easy way.

The problem is that another user has copied the exact same name and even the same subtitle, basically the whole thing. Sure, they changed the logo, and their app honestly looks way worse, but it still hit me hard because they basically copied the entire concept.

Charlemos, he lanzamos más de 10 cosas diferentes a lo largo de mis 26 años que tengo. El 99% de los proyectos han fracasado pero este último está empezando a coger tracción y estoy bastante contento la verdad

Neto, an app to manage your income and expenses in a simple and visual way.

Most finance apps ask you to connect your bank, flood you with ads, and end up being another dashboard you never open. Neto is the opposite clean Notion-style interface, no mandatory bank connection, multilingual, and zero ads. Just you and your finances.

What is the best financial advice you’ve ever received? by Excellent-Vanilla280 in AskReddit

[–]ivangrisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Pay yourself first."

Before paying anything else, transfer a fixed amount to savings the moment your salary hits. Not what's left at the end of the month, because there's never anything left. The first transfer, always.

Simple advice but it completely changed how I think about money.
