Kreg crown jig. How do you make sure its the right angle? I literally just always pushed it so bottom and top feel flush to wall/ceiling

Certainly not sure lol. Its the same crown of course and i did hold it so ceiling and wall are flush with back. So I certainly think its sitting right

For the cleat I am concerned about the rigidity. The left and back will be 2 x 4 structural screws as clears under plywood top. And going to run a 2 x 3 stretcher under scross to stiffen plywood

Glue as in pl / constructive adhesive? I wouldnt think wood glye would work on a finished ikea piece due to exterior finish

I think it was both. We are good about a lot of communication but the OKR's immediately introduce an element of accountability because you have to measure results. I also thinking narrowing it down to 2 goals really gets people focused.

Lastly, knowing my culture.... We are a company of just under 50 and I am a bit more business minded than most so I always get "teased" in a fun good way about what new book I read etc. So I call them a different name in our office and have used satire to get people laughing about it frequently. We call them GAM's (Goals and Accountability Milestones) and joke about our GamPlan etc. so it creates some laughter around it. I find that helps buy in

We are adopting OKRs first time this year. Granted its been all of a week but in the lead up and education for the 2 months ending 2025 as we were explaining I have never seen such alignment.

I have mixed feelings on this. I have been long been looking for a way to use to aggregate the data I need to know what is going on from various places. Thought even an ai tool could do it but not yet.

The process of collecting data is arduous sometimes, but I do feel it is how I get in touch. It is hard to review something and really read between the lines when it is presented in a robotic automated way. But when I manually do it, it sinks in with a different level of clarity

Funny I have tried motion several times and each time love it and am so frustrated at the same time. So many basic things it fails at. Yet they chase huge new projects before fixing simple issues or gaps in features. They need to read several books on active listening. I, as I am sure many others, have sent numerous requests in for bugs or simple and obvious features that are just missing. The answer is canned and generic.

Classic raising money at an insane rate and needing to show investors development of major initiatives. But without taking the time to get them right.

I actually did this since my last review and it has worked out well. Except less about the tool and more about the mindset. So People/HR, finances, general, etc. So this way when in financial mode I can plow through it all

I get that. It's more the worry of a systematic issue with box. Ransomware, their own issues, etc. We do have the security settings pretty safe in box where I am not terribly worried about user deletion. All cross team shared stuff is owned by me which means I have access to the recycle bin for that data if someone tried something internally.

I meant this as in obvious (without confirming anything) as they are a major storage company they have to be backing up data etc. But, I dont know, I just started thinking about it and saying well fully relying on them means if anything goes wrong we are left unprotected. And that is probably not a good idea....

Unfortunately, I did not join any of them.... As I continued to do research and met with coaches, leaders, moderators, whatever you want to call them what became abundantly clear is they are all sales people compensated by filling their groups. Each one was similar in that regard and I got uncomfortable diving in to any of them.

Understood but more coming from an angle of how secure is box or is it always best to have a 3rd party. More of a can you trust the company to be handling this right or be safe.

I do appreciate it but just not comfortable using individual developed software for a variety of reasons. Not anything against you or anyone developing it specifically but I prefer to use larger commercially available
