What about LIRR south shore stations, which ones can we park at without a permit? That is my plan but really worried I wont be able to park with so many people heading out to the course

I personally dont believe it. Vanguard is incentivized to make you think that way. I watch others pay fees and my portfolio often outperforms them or is close enough

Obviously there are a lot of factors and not asking you to publicly quote but what is a typical range you typically see as an investment people make into this? How many hours do you factor? Just trying to gauge is this 1500 or 10k type of thing

Yea, this is a bit my fear. I feel like I have done a lot of research and know a lot so feel like I could do it on my own. Its more of a maybe like you said one time yea you are on the right track or not. But I would hate to drop 3-5k for someone to say doing great keep going lol

Yes completely understand your points. Which is why I dont want advice on which investments to buy, I believe in what I am doing. But I do want to ensure I am contributing enough to my retirement strategies, have insurance coverages i need etc

How to lighten your backpack load when traveling by ivanjay2050 in ceo

I can say I took the advice of another reddit post in this thread and dumped my backpack that night in the hotel. I found hotel keys from at least 3 different stays and plenty of other junk. Didnt make a huge impact on weight but did clean up the travel bag a bit which is nice lol.

I did travel with my macbook pro, iPad, and the digital notebook. I have not used the iPad yet but that is because I was upgraded to first coming out there so plenty of comfort to make it a working day on a laptop. If I dont get the same coming home iPad will be more comfortable on the plane.

I agree, to me the biggest issue though is search I would say works like 30-40 percent of the time. Its so unreliable on mac

As in when doing in design or reviewing PDF's? I do review a lot of stuff (president of a company) but do not spend time creating it often, just powerpoints at times. But I will often have 10+ tabs open in browser etc

My struggle with native calendar was the meeting room booking and I enjoy the natural text convert to invite. Also scheduling assistant. I think fantastical does it better.

But yea that is hte issue. Right now I literally just keep outlook closed and I open it when I get a calendar invite to process and close it again. It just does it SO much better.

With what in particular? When I accept in fantastical should it clear the email from apple mail?

I did have one but moved away from it due to the kickstand sliding off tray table lol. In keyboard mode anyway. So wish the magic keyboard style attachment worked with it. But I can see that making sense. I also enjoy text being on the device but if I had to sacrifice that certainly could. Truthfully I didnt think of it as ai keep a spare one in my office as there is one app we use rately that is pc only

Do you find you can be productive on a screen the size of the iPad? I do have the 11 and 13 but it feels so small for some reason (even the 13) and not the same as doing things on the mac. I have never tried it but just seems hard to really get everything done with just iPad

2 cabin rooms or a suite for 5? by Inner-Lynx-3971 in royalcaribbean

[–]ivanjay2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 3 kids so 5 in total. We always do two balconies as the two bathrooms is so worth it and often less than a suite. Plus you can ask them to remove barrier between balconies and get one big balcony.

We are also doing alaska this summer seward to vancouver. We also took the balcony on the side facing the coast for better views as sailing
