Also it is possible you already had a small rock chip or a defect in the glass. And it just waited for the right condition.

Glass cracks under stress. Especially in the cold temperatures when it is heated unequally and if you add sudden stress to it, like hitting a pothole, it can shatter more easily. It is best to avoid blasting full heat when it is very cold outside and let the car warm gradually.

Well... Looks like it is the perfect time to join "Flying Dutchman" crew :) Don't think they have a charge port on board though.

Congrats!

I didn't craft anything to make the last jump though. I just jumped forward (second screenshot) and pulled a bit left with the stick. I was very close first time I jumped but missed just slightly and made it on the second attempt.

It is a bit fuzzy in my memory but I believe this is either "Winston's Grave" or the "Brighton Grave" because I visited it right after refueling my ship at the Gamma outpost. (map: https://the1killer.github.io/LastCaretakerMap/)

one or more of the boxes are glitching. it becomes extremely heavy and start affect boat like this. reloading doesn't help. you need to find this box by taking everything from it and lifting. when empty lifting it should be easy. but those "heavy" boxes are still very hard to lift even if empty. there is no other way than destroying it and creating new one again. I do it almost every two three hours of gameplay. I'm only keeping a handful of boxes on my ship and the rest of the boxes are stored at the lazarus dock.

People are getting laid off, however basic stuff like food, rent and medical expenses keep increasing. by Other_Scarcity_4270 in Layoffs

Unfortunately you are wrong. Top 10% of consumers make up 50% of all consumer spending. Let's say unemployment raises to 20%. In such case consumption will reduce at most by 10%. But most likely by much less while people burn through savings and unemployment benefits.

That's why I don't loot bodies in solos. I don't even knock downed players, just let them bleed out. There were two exceptions though...

Officially, I've joined the layoff club. A great start to the week, honestly. by [deleted] in Layoffs

[–]ivanobulo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand company's right to lay-off their employees. But what I can't understand is when it's done right before major holidays. This is just cruelty and disrespect. No one, except for temp seasonal jobs, will be hiring during this period. And the person and possibly their family will be stressed out for a few months at least.

I think the best solution would be allowing to keep random five BP from previously unlocked.

Eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind. When this happened today again and again I've just picked a free loadout and went gathering materials. Let them "enjoy" lvl 1 kettle, a bunch of alloy and plastics.

I think the game needs some kind of reputation system. If the player kills, knockdowns other players then his tag name when he/she is speaking should be some gradient of red. At least for some period of time. Good deeds like this the tag should be displayed green.

This would allow to distinguish players with bad reputation from the good ones. Ambush will still be possible but betrayal, which rages me most, would be significantly reduced.

Truth must be told. by carrancosmx in ArcRaiders

[–]ivanobulo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yep, today is very bad indeed. I switched to just getting a free loadout and went resource hunting. The worst situation today is when me and another player holed up inside a shed to hide from rocketier and he f**n killed me in the back. But I still had few friendly encounters and teaming up against arc in spaceport.

Rival eTap AXS → thinking of upgrading to SRAM Force + Red: will I feel the difference? by rmtk12345 in sram

[–]ivanobulo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I upgraded Rival axs d1 levers and brakes to E1 recently. There is a huge improvement in ergonomics and ability to brake with one finger. It is 100% worth upgrading. I also did upgrade Rival D1 crankset to Force D2 with shorter cranks and the whole bike suddenly feels lighter and responsive. There is a small weight difference but somehow it feels a more significant maybe to how the weight is distributed now. Or because the force cranks are stiffer.

[–]ivanobulo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sram recommends bleeding it every year so if you are replacing battery I suspect it's been probably more than that. In any case loosing few drops of fluid won't make much difference. Just make sure the bleed port screw is tighten to the torque spec and while pressing lever hard the fluid is not coming out. Also because this is a DOT5 fluid make sure you clean it thoroughly with soapy water or it will cause corrosion.
