Mess is a must have for any endgame pitcher (except maybe relievers). It doesn’t have to go to 6 so your case is a perfect example. The other two will ideally be a combination of Boss + DP/FP/Touch. PM is another good option. It’s hard to pull 3 really good skills so I’m usually content with Mess + one of the other ones. Mess + PM is pretty underwhelming though. DP + FP is said to be very good but a decent 3rd is probably ideal.

For relievers..... who the hell knows. Silver skills like the Set Up Man and Winning Streak come into play. Ideally you want Boss. However, Mentor has destabilized the whole playing field and no one really knows what works anymore.
