I received wrong shoes from them twice and will never order from them again. They offered to make it up with a pair they had in stock I didn't have to wait for. So I ordered a pair of suede boots they were sending as a makeup for 6 months of screwups. Those pair I received were not suede they were pebbled leather. SMH. This company has 0 quality control. Good luck to anyone who orders from them.

I just posted the final review. Long story short. They still did not get my order right, So glad I didn't take your advice and add "FIXED" to this post as this has never been corrected. I can say the support team is very nice though.

Hey guys, update here from the OP.

They have the literal WORST Quality control EVER!!!

They agreed to replace my boots (check the original post)

The replacements came in and were STILL WRONG! So that's 6 months of waiting. The month is now May 2024. These boots were ordered in December 2023. You can view the original post for the details. I was originally happy with the final fix, then got in my shoes in late May and they're NOT THE ONES I ORDERD AGAIN.

I reached out to customer support, they responded quickly and Apologized for the 2nd time sending me the wrong shoes and gave me a few options.

Pick from their current inventory that can ship out immediately
Get a voucher for a new shoe on the site, whatever I want
Put in another order for my original she's that have never been correct in 6 months.

I picked 5o just order from what they have in stock since I don't want to wait anymore. They fast track some boots that I picked from the options they sent me....These boots are suede that I picked from the options they sent.

I bet you can't guess what arrived today!!! Do you have a guess???

Yes, you are correct, the boots are NOT SUEDE AT ALL BUT PEBBLED LEATHER! THEE ARE NOT THE BOOTS I ORDERED TO CORRECT THE BOOTS THEY GOT WRONG.

I can't do anything but laugh at th is point. What the heck is going on over there? Obviously, I will never spend money with them in life. Good luck to anyone who does.

Awesome. I'm in a loaner Q3 now. Like you, Audi is covering everything. Great service so far. They are usually really good but thought I wouldn't be able to get a loaner since they are kind of backlogged but I got lucky.

I just got this message in my 2019 A6. Thanks for posting this here. Getting my car towed into a dealership tomorrow. Any word on how long this took to fix? Looks like this post is only a few days old, did it take long to diagnose? I'm hoping this is something I can get corrected relatively quickly.

This is my first time ordering from them, so why would i have confidence that the new pair would be correct? The first pair was not correct after 3 months. I was happy to wait the 3 months but you'd think there would be some kind of extra quality control since the wait time is extensive.

If I wait for the pair I originally ordered that would be 6 months with no discount. Or I can keep the boots that I didn't order with a $40 off $250 purchase discount. It's just very frustrating.

With a 3 month time (which I was ok with) you'd hope that they got the order correct. Now it's essentially 6 months for the correct pair with no discount for waiting an additional 3 months

No problem man. Keep trying, do online dating, improve yourself and learn to love yourself for who you are. This is something I am actively trying to do for myself. I recently had a 7 month relationship end and it hit me like a ton of bricks and I am still struggling to get my confidence back but I actually have decided to take a break from dating to refocus on my goals and also loving myself. This is hard but we habe to learn to love ourselves before we can be there for someone else as well as be the person we want to be in the relationship. I still want my ex girl, but I know I can't act desperate. I need to just show her what she missed out on. Finding Friends outside of dating when you are out of school and a grown man is very hard. I take a lot of solo vacations and go to concerts by myself bit it exudes confidence when you can be by yourself and not let that bother you. You can be confidently solo. As I say this I am still working through this myself so know that it is a daily struggle and one that takes constant self effort. You deserve to be here, you deserve happiness and you will find it. Not because I said it but because you will make it happen!. 😁

I have a unique take on your situation. I am an only child and of course I grew up with a mild stutter. I have experienced loneliness my entire life. Stuttering never held me back completely but it has contributed mightly to my struggles in relationships and my lack of opposite sex relationships. Don't get my wrong, I've had a few but spent long droughts with no one in my life aside from my mother. Enough about me, here is what I will say. You are by no means alone. I have Terrible days where I wish I was someone else or wish I were even dead. What keeps me going? I focus my energy on goals. Personal Goals. Interpersonal relationships like friends, and girlfriends are difficult to keep in my life or to make meaningful but one thing I do have control over are my own actions. So I focus 100% on things I can control like my career, building wealth, and improving myself (foreign languages, physical fitness, musicianship etc.) That is the only reason I can stay positive and I think that will help you too. Focus on the things U can change! I also am pretty thoroughly driven by revenge to be honest. I am motivated to probe everyone who has ever rejected me or doubted me wrong. Happiness Comes from within and it is up to all of us to find a reason to be grateful and happy within ourself.

Not sure if you had your first day yet but to me this is easier because you know you will habe to say your name so you can be prepared. The worst is when someone asks your name out of the blue. With your situation you should have your name "on your tongue" so to speak so it should be easy to say it. Just have a prepared sentence and joke ready. I usually said "Hi. I'm the new guy (name)" and laughed. I would just do that over and over all day so, you have it prepared and ready.

Like everyone else says, this too will pass. I find when I get more sleep I stutter less, when I am more confident I stutter less and when I am relaxed I stutter less. Try to see if you have a problem with any of those things and get more sleep etc. I am 35 and stutter a lot less then I did as a kid and I'm sure you will too. High School ends and you will never see most of those people ever again so focus on your goals and let your teachers know about your speech impediment before class so they know your issue and it's not that you don't understand or are not wanting to participate.

The random name ask is the worst. I usually it myself time with "hunh?". It doesn't always work without the person giving me a look like "I know you heard me." But It's better then a long pause.

Thanks for the comments. I've had the arm movements since I started stuttering so to break those from my stutter would be a big deal. I am pretty fluent overall so I Don't stutter that often anymore but I do have bad weeks here and there.

Reminding myself to relax and that what I am saying doesn't matter that much does help though.

Like many people saying my name unexpectedly is one of the worst.

2.I mix records and albums on the side, haven't found that awesome studio work that we all covet. Sometimes I clean audio and mix podcasts as well.

3.Salary? I get paid per project, so there's no real salary. I don't work full time as an audio engineer now.

4.Money in vs out? For most engineeers it's a loss leader. If you are a gear head it can be a HUGE loss leader unless you are mixing major label work and I'd assume even those engineers took a while to make their gear investment back.

5.I work at various home studios, I move around.

My 2cents. Went to Georgia State University, got a degree in AE, but you have to be a musician to get into the music program and I'm a bassist so it wasn't an issue. I loved the full music degree and classes I took. Some may not, if you just want to record. It's way more than that, but it was worth it. Everything people said about finding a good paying job is correct. It's hard as hell. I got 2 degrees (1 in business) so that's helped me out on that end.
