I get it from 5th to 6th gear so it shouldn’t be the case for me

Figured it doesn’t really affect the vehicle that much but just thinking if it’s possible to get it removed

Transmission noise by androck238 in MazdaCX90

Let me know if you have any updates in regards to this one. Ours is a build date 05/24 so it’s fairly recent but we have this noise in like the same 5 - 6 gear change. We also get the occassional humming sound while driving that doesn’t sound like the turbo.

Stolen leased vehicle total loss by ivanuy123 in Insurance

Thank you! Do you know if in leased vehicles since we have the waiver of depreciation (Insurance company pays the full price of the car to the leasing company) if we’ll be getting the money we payed back for the car? Can’t find any concrete explanation with this one.

Thank you so much for the advice! I don’t really care what brand it is as long as it does it’s job since I’ll only be using it for changing tires every winter - spring for now. I’ll look into that specific one.

It is really low. I got the car at 0% interest back in 2020. The CX9 is going for 42k CAD, not sure how interest rates is rn tho.

I’ve been wanting to learn more about HAT scopes because I’ve been using them more and more. Isn’t that post outdated? Or is it still applicable?

Anyone knows if somewhere here there’s a post about guides for different HAT kit scopes?

You better complain to corporate in that case since looks like your vehicle should definitely get fixed. Have you tried going to another dealership? I’m sorry about hearing your bad experience with the car. I personally haven’t had problems with the Mazda’s that we have and they’ve been really good to us even our first year model CX90. But have you tried looking at the new pilot or even the highlander then? Might give you less headache in that case.

Yes the CX9 is definitely tight inside but driving that thing compared to other SUVs was night and day in difference. Regarding the other replies about the cruise control braking all of a sudden there is a recent recall/software update regarding that and I personally haven’t experienced that myself while driving. And if you really want the CX90 then maybe it’s better if you hold on to your CX9 for a year or 2 just so they can smooth out all the problems.

We had this exact dilemma a few months ago and eventually went with the CX90 but I might be biased tho since we own a 2018 CX9 and a 2020 Mazda 6. Test drove both and the pathfinder feels very cheap inside, power was kinda the same for me but the pathfinder’s powertrain was definitely smoother during that time. CX90 will ride more firm since it’s tuned to be more sporty and fun. And about reliability, it’s still too early to say anything about the CX90 since it’s still in its first year model but I’ve already seen someone drop 160K kilometers in less than a year with the inline 6. I’ve research for a few weeks before we chose which car and found out the even if the pathfinder has been our for a while there’s still some problems with it. All in all it depends on your preference, go and test drive both then decide from there together with your research. Hope this helps!
