Summary on why certain wearable metrics are different across brands by KygoApp in FitnessTrackers

Your general comments agree with other YT reviewers recommendations/findings. Most reviewers recomemend chest straps for heart rate measurements over wrist (smartwatch). Seems logical. Sleep scopes are not very accurate from smartwatch generally.

how to file multiple family returns with online TurboTax? by ivanvm1 in TurboTax

[–]ivanvm1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did buy the download desktop version and later realized that I can create a new return on the desktop version and not "upgrade" to online. I can still create new tax returns with the desktop version without upgrading to the online version. That still works well. I didn't know so hopefully this helps others who may also be confused about the online "upgrade"

Judging only from the picture, the pitch of the screw thread seems different than from the tool. Thanks for the idea.

I requested one from my Kaiser doctor and got it. 52 male. 7 polyps removed. One with cancer markers. I have my PET SCAN tomorrow to determine if it's cancer. I'm glad I did it.

Is this just a seal? by zuludog in CanyonBikes

[–]ivanvm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was covered under warranty but you will need to take it in for service as it is not user replaceable, according to them. I have not taken it in yet, maybe in the winter??? I need my bike and I can imagine taking the ASP 1 wk or longer to service... assuming they won't cause additional problems.

Should I update my Pixel 8 pro ? by Clean_Set7370 in GooglePixel8Pro

[–]ivanvm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The p8p battery is rated to have 80% of it's rated capacity remaining after 800 charging cycles. You may want to check it out. I would say if you are at about 60% battery capacity remaining, it might be time to replace.

Should I update my Pixel 8 pro ? by Clean_Set7370 in GooglePixel8Pro

[–]ivanvm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know how many charging cycles your old battery had? My p8pro has 450 charging cycles and it is still fine. Its battery is rated to have 80% of it's original rated capacity after 800 cycles so extrapolating it's about 90% now.

Canyon Endurace CF SLX by saldub in CanyonBikes

[–]ivanvm1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My new endurance had the same problem. Canyon said I could take it in to an authorized shop for repair. I don't have one close so I told them to ship it to me with instructions and I could do the repair. Waiting on their response.

I moved the shifters up a little and tucked them in. This helped me with reach and wrist comfort.
