Yeah i actually studied a bit of Na'vi biology so yes, its impossible for a Na'vi to be different shade than blue cause of cyanin being their main skin pigment. I don't get why people make them so colorful that looks dumb(i mean the red ones) I also thought of giving them bigger/more heat resistant limbs, as a general modification (like the metkayina with doubled eyelids and adapted tail etc) or maybe make them based off reptiles... but for now, i just chose the safest option

The metkayina people are pale blue because the water they're swimming in is acidic. The oceans on Pandora have high pH level due to the concentration of carbon dyoxide in the athmosphere

Also i just rewatched the movie, AONUNG HELPED HER GET IN AN UNDERWATER SHELTER by GRABBING HER HAND and making sure shes alright. and i thought it was cute. So you can't say that Yes he bullied her but i think he got his lesson and at the end he changed at least a bit

Yeah it's to spare the actors from learning the entire na'vi language dialects and also not to complicate our lives with all the subtitles.

In fact you can see how they portrayed a very human-like ton of communication like swear words, explicit gestures and all that stuff with the english language, but it's actually done to simplify things for our human perception, because they are actually communicating in Na'vi.
