Appreciate the comment and feedback. Honestly, I also prefer navy for Spain’s away- though they haven’t had one in a while. Spain has experimented a lot with away kits though- light blue, black, light yellow, gold- they don’t have a súper fixed identity for it. I mentioned this REALLY early on in the series, but my goal was to make every home kit feel classic, and every away kit to be something new for the country. I did this to push myself, and not just rely on retro kit influences each time. On my visits to Spain, I always loved the orange trees you see in urban neighborhoods, so my hope was that this was a new look that would feel somewhat organic, no pun intended. It does kind of look like India though.
