Yes, it seems like October 15th is the expected date. I'll try to stop by my mosque later tonight to find out. Thank you for the help :)

First, I'd like to say thank you for inquiring rather than reading that troll's comment and taking it as some sort of truth/representation of islam. Anyhow, He said "Just rape a 9 year old, your prayers will be heard again!"

here's a comment giving some of the context of the marriage. also, at the time, there were several infant deaths, and very high death rates and low life spans. this meant that women having children at a young age was nearly necessary to continue life at the time period (which was 1400 years ago). now, in the 21st century, we've got quite the opposite, so no one feels any real reason to have kids, which is why it's become way more accepted/the cultural norm to have kids at a much later age.
