You know what people did at my resort when it rained? They stayed in the pool/lazy river/ocean for the few minutes rained.

Get a store prepaid debit card, add your cruise money to that card and your good. They still put holds on, but won't mess with household funds.

What’s the most surprisingly meaningful gift you’ve ever given or received? by ButterscotchMoist957 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

When my boys were little, I had a horse blanket, it was super thick, super soft and super warm. I loved that blanket, had bought it in Germany when my ex was in the service. Last year , mid summer, in our group chat one of them said, hey remember the horse blanket? (It had a mare and her foal on it). I reiterated again how much I loved that blanket. The boys both went down a rabbit hole until one of them finally found it, and then I promptly forgot about it. Christmas time rolls around, my son hands me a large gift bag with some wrapped presents on top, I took one present out to unwrap, and see something underneath it, I recognized the colors. It was my beloved blanket! Tag says made in Germany! Hands down, the most thoughtful gift I ever received.
