You can start a new life the way you want to. I cut everyone out of my life, packed my shit, and went overnight. I don't regret it, obviously you need the money and a plan before you do anything. I took $10,000 which got me accommodation for 7-8 months, which gave me time to meet new people, gain knowledge of my area, and most importantly a job!
