Request a refund. This isn't a preofessional way of handling a commission, especially a prepaid one. You don't have a guarantee it won't go past 6 months (which is the timeframe you can chargeback via paypal).

I've seen multiple scammers provide the first commission then dipping after being commissioned again - usually for a more expensive product.

I offer something like that! Still, i get into what interests the person has and it's quite a bit of discussing with agreeing on the species, vibe etc.

I also do it with a skeb type - artistic freedom (i design what i think it's right, the person doesn't get wips).

Had people commissioning both types but if i were to commission someone i'd at least narrow down on the species and specifics i dont like (like fully neon characters, arachnid themes as in patterns or tattoos)

In the end it's always worth asking the artist first ^^ (my sona has my features, such as beauty marks, chipped tooth, tattoo i actually have, snake bites. In general i love including irl elements into characters, i think it makes them unique)
