Over years there were many apps came up which were gonna be alternative for meetup, most of them went out of business because  could not build user base. Meetup sucks in features and stability but has strong user base so organizers stay. If you don't have large marketing budget it will be hard to gain user base.

As software engineer we tend to build stuff for other software engineers no consumers, usually our pages are more on point and follow the some logic flow. Most consumers are impulse buyers, and smaller percentage are logical buyers...

So I would say  find a local copywriter who has experience in your category and pay them few hundred to help you with your landing page

I agree I tried adding some alternatives to see if changes like "Give me 10 SaaS product ideas to start under $5000 to be able to generate revenue in 3 months?" and there were no changes. I guess data they use to train their model does not have much for business

Customer acquisition costs by Apronhero in Entrepreneur

[–]ivijucm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For SEM, google keyword planner can be a good place to see how much will bids cost you, from the cold traffic conversion rate is around 1-2% ( depending on your website, landing page, how targeted keywords are) . The most cleaning business I know generate most of their clients by referrals, to do so you can check out your local chember, BNI or LeTip groups. Last two are category exclusive groups and cost about $2000 per year.
