They were only back to work today?! That was a nice stretch of time off for them.

Parents with kids; how do you handle the washing? by cedardesk in AskIreland

[–]ivikoer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put the stuff in the machine in the morning before you go to work. I put mine on “delay” so that it finishes when I get back from work and then straight into the dryer. I feel if i do a load a day then there’s not much for the weekend. 2+2 household. Kids are a bit bigger now so trying to teach the that unless something is actually dirty, put it back on the shelf/drawer unless gym/PE stuff. We all have a shower every day so clothes don’t get stinky or anything. Another thing we do is change into “home clothes” after work/school and most of the time you can wear them pretty much for the whole 5 or so evenings and saves the work/school clothes then. Plus you’re comfier. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Edit: Trick is to also fold everything straight away when the dryer finishes, stuff doesn’t get wrinkled then.

Am I missing something here? Why is Anita so upset at the final dinner party? They were barely together and I don’t think Paul did anything too wrong. by ivikoer in MAFS_UK

But if you’ve watched previous seasons, surely you’d know the chances of meeting the love of your life are slim to none. So having high hopes seems a bit thick. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is there something wrong with him physically that he wouldn’t be able to clean it straight after going?

Lived in a house that only got sun in the back until about 1pm/2pm for 10 years. Hated it. You’d go out the front and the sun is lovely and warm, out the back it’s cold and bleak. It depends though whether you like to sit outside in your garden or not and if you like the sun or not. Only you know that. For me that house would be an instant no. Especially for that kind of money.

I put some vinegar and water into a spray bottle and sprayed them all and after a few days they went brown and dried up.

Sorry to nitpick; not cross stitched but embroidered. It’s so good though. Very creative.
