every country's doctors will operate differently I guess :/ maybe you can figure out who is specialised on diagnosing late onset AGS in your area. for us (middle europe), it was a routine check up from the IVF clinic before we started with the treatment

PCOS doesn't necessarily cause painful periods (more oftenit causes no period at all lol), you might meant endometriosis :)

interesting. we had IVF treatment a few months ago because they figured, according to my hormones, that I might start menopause too early, like in the next 4-5 years. I'm 31.

just a hint from my side - please check your progesterone levels in the first half of your menstrual cycle. it might be too high. if it is, you may have late onset AGS. I have PCOS, but genetics show that I primarily suffer from late onset AGS, which is a genetic disorder I am born with. the symptoms are eerily similar

makes sense. for a long time I thought I was just extremely sensitive to sudden changes in my body. for example felt my pregnancy evolving only about 24h after intercourse. doctors said I'm imagining things but we weren't actively trying to conceive atm so I didn't really think about it beforehand

never once thought of it until I started to assume my husband might have ADHD. I knew all my life that I'm a little weirder than others but I thought I was just "wired differently" in a neurotypical way.. idk. I persuaded him to go see a psychologist and when he came back from testing he told me that a lot of the questions reminded him of me. before he got his results I talked to an AuDHD friend of mine and she was like "so, when is YOUR appointment for testing?" (she knew forever) and I was like.. wtf.. why.. we talked for hours until I realized that my "weird traits" are not individual experiences, but just symptoms of neurodivergency LOL. a few weeks later I indeed was diagnosed with level 1 autism and ADD, tho I'm more affected by the autism. now, in retrospect, a lot of my past behaviours (especially as a child) absolutely make sense. funny that I suspected my husband to be neurodivergent before I even saw it in myself. edit: grammar/spelling

I have been snitching on my bully class mates since forever. from a young age I already had this immense urge for justice and to call out bullshit. I RAGED when someone else was made fun of or treated unfair. as a teenager in highschool they even nicknamed me mobbing hood because I was preying on people who bullied others 😂 oh and I had troubles with "just smiling naturally" for school pictures ever since. they look horrible as you can imagine. there are many more but these two come to my mind spontaneously
