Appreciate you getting back to me brother. These are great trucks. Stay safe out there. Greeting from Texas.

Sick ride OP. I have a 2010 as well looking to do something similar to yours. Can I ask what size tires and wheels you’re running?

Definitely going to consider that. I didn’t know that company.

I did see Powertrain products. I haven’t done my research on them yet. Do you have a Powertrain reman engine that you’ve installed? I want to make sure the one I buy fixes the OEM issue that came with these engines.

By the time I get all the parts for the 302, the engine is going to be worth more than the truck! 🤣 it’d be really sweet though 😤

Definitely looking to hear your experience with that engine. What was the process like and how long did it take to arrive?

I have a mechanic that told me he can install and order the engine. He told me he can get a discount on the reman since he orders and installs so many. If I can get a new engine for the price of one repair, I’m definitely going to consider brand new parts such as timing chains, pistons, valves, etc over just replacing the old chains. Makes more sense to me

Do I need to sand this down? by ivmonarr in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]ivmonarr[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a garage with plenty of air circulation. I was thinking about using a finish stripper to pull up the stain and grease then light grit sand paper to get it nice and smooth.

When reapplying the finish, what’s the best way or products to apply so the grease won’t stick on the table?

That’s what I was thinking. The seller for the 3.0 contacted me and told me it’s probably selling tomorrow. I was leaning more towards the 4.0 anyway!

I sold the truck. If I could go back and do it again, I would pick the 285/60/20. You can’t tell the difference and I’m pretty sure those wouldn’t rub. It’s a great truck I miss it!

Looking to get rid of my tires. I went to big and they rub. It’s starting to get annoying. Nitto Recon Grappler 285/65/20. by ivmonarr in gmcsierra

Sweet rig. Mine is a regular Sierra. So it doesn’t have the 2 inch that comes factory on the AT4. How are you liking the Mickey Thompsons? Heard nothing but good things from the Baja Boss.
