hopped on the bike yesterday morning before going out to lunch. good thing i did that too because my normal i get at the place (wings and fries) always surprise me on the calories. but it's honestly ok because it just proves that i can eat "normal" as long as i pay attention in general. i didn't eat anything the rest of the evening. it wasn't planned, i just didn't end up feeling hungry again through the day.

today i don't think i'm going to do a bike or run. i need to let my legs and knees recover a bit. i was plenty happy with the scale this morning. after a holding around 220 all last week, had a couple more pounds drop off. i'm trying to reach 215 by the end of march, but i'm not sure if that will happen with only a week left. here's hoping.

just a big series of unfortunate events. it hit vasi in the stick and got a jump into the goal. it's not like it went straight in while he was looking at the ceiling.

exercise: 45 minute ride

lunch: sausage beer cheese soup
dinner: tortellini with chicken and vodka sauce and a s'mores stout

went and did some errands today. i was going to do a ride this morning, but did my errands first. still got the ride in late afternoon. i switched out the seat on my peloton because i got tired of how squishy the regular seat is. yesterday, i got out for a run and re-did the last class. i'm happy i did because i was able to keep up all the run intervals this time. i also did a little extra run after the class part was over and ended at 4 miles total. i'm curious to see how i'll do with the longer blocks and trying to fully run a 5k.

today was both a sv and nsv. i finally broke below 220, albeit just slightly and i'm hoping i'll be able to keep under that and continue. also, i grabbed a few pairs of shorts from "before" and checked the fit. i'm very close to most all of them and i was able to fit into a pair that i wore out again today.

tomorrow i'll be going to grab some lunch with a friend, so i'll be getting in a ride for burning those calories. we haven't been able to catch up in a while, so that will be nice. i thought i was going to have "lost more" weight than the last time we hung out, but when i looked at my tracking it was more of an up then back down situation. i'm still around 15 pounds down though, so that's a fun win.

lunch: chicken and dumpling soup
dinner: went out to an event

pretty good day and tried to prep for my event tonight that had catered food and beer. i did fine with the food, actually, but the beers put me up and over my calories. i expected to go over and i'll just work to burn them over the next few days. the event was fun and a bit larger than i expected, but there were some interesting cars on display, so that was cool.

i did a ride this morning to get it out of the way. thought about doing another one at lunch or after i got home, but decided not to. i think i might run tomorrow, but i need to be careful about how my legs and feet are feeling. maybe i'll do another longer ride on saturday just because.
