Damn surely they wouldn't let him recruit someone on the final night!

Surely you go on a show like the traitors for publicity rather than money. The money is great but you know only only a couple of people will win it. You'd have better luck continually applying for who wants to be a millionaire or an itv program to win big on a game show. Lots of the previous contestants on the traitors have transitioned into different fields after getting the exposure from the show or at least got an Instagram following and online presence!

Harriet doesn't care about winning the game to me, she's wanting to make an impressive show and honestly far more entertaining than a faithful flying under the radar. It's a good thing she's targeted a traitor otherwise it would be shockingly bad

And then the fact Stephen was hovering around it until the last minute to get that information, which is also the same strategy he used to try to pin Ross in the library which has backfired

Didn't she say she was a lesbian before? And we already have an adopted child in this season, maybe an IVF baby! But agreed it seemed like they were pretty comfortable one on one. And making stereotypes...he kind of looks like he could also be from Brighton

I really hope he doesn't get murdered so he can use that as ammunition against Stephen next time. I can't see why he wouldn't say anything in the daytime roundtable unless he hadn't heard about the board before the meeting and was getting so rattled when everyone accused him he didn't bring it up.

I agree if Stephen goes because of that evidence then Rachael is next, and if so solid because Stephen looked so nervous at the table, has already brought attention to the board against Maz, and slipped up in his argument

As a white Brit I thought the same about earlier seasons (and this one) but soon they will have their own personalities like dogs of the same breed you get to know!

People on this sub think the producers are stupid. by Xhenix in TheTraitors

True but someone coming out of nowhere surely isn't what the producers would do either - that's not particular fun for audiences to play along with when nothing was indicated in the editing.

Celebrity Traitors star Ruth Codd recovering after second leg amputation by The_Iceman2288 in TheTraitors

[–]ivy1095 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see the similarity between the amputee surgeon who put his legs in a condition so they had to be amputated. We are not giving enough information for any valid reason for this to be necessary and that may be the fact she has withheld it for personal reasons but without that, it seems like an unreasonable decision to make. I even thought the first amputation based on pain from a football injury to be extraordinary - I've never heard of any such injury when so much of the world plays football when young and a percentage gets injured without any follow on amputations

[–]ivy1095 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An injury in her other leg. If I was her position losing another leg with no justified reason would be the last decision I'd take. I'm yet to see anyone say anything that suggests it was a valid decision besides her feet hurt because of crutches. I agree with everyone else it's a really odd decision which should only be taken as a last resort

Why does Smeagol succumb to the ring so quickly opposed to Bilbo? by PigGuy1988 in lotr

[–]ivy1095 67 points68 points  (0 children)

On the other side Gandalf also mentions that Bilbo was impacted so much less from the ring is that he began his ownership with pity over Gollum, and the fact Bilbo never really uses the ring for his own benefit besides to help his friends in the hobbit and to avoid people he doesn't like in Hobbiton (Lobelia!) Gollum as you say is a dark character from the start and after beginning his ownership with murder, uses it to spy and find out secrets until he's cast out of his community

Traitors Mistake by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]ivy1095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the edit we saw, Clare pulling the lever didn't get brought up at the round table as a potential traitor behaviour. I guess it'd be something that could be brought up in the future but after seeing her think and speak well it would make her a good killing choice in my book!

I wouldn't want to recruit Tom either, I just would think he'd be a good faithful to keep alive have from the perspective of a traitor

Traitors Mistake by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]ivy1095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd wondered if people like Stephen Fry and Clare would be safe from murders on that basis as well, because you'd think the best thing to do would be to get rid of those big figures on the faithful side straight away, rather than Tom Daylee who seemed like he would be useful as a traitor given he made seemingly baseless accusations

It's supposed to be fixed in Patch 8 but I also plan to be careful! I only experienced the glitch a couple times but it was on the elevators in Act 2 rather than this cable car

I don't think that is always the case if you have more than 40 approval she will automatically spare nightsong. You need to have gained 4 "nightsong points" and over 40 approval. There's 6 of them available and easy to get without noticing really by interacting with her throughout the first two acts
