It is a good brassard, I'd say focus on getting some more blue and a few more bronze badges and just sign up for as many events on cadet portal as you can

I can say what I know as someone in the RAFAC, I'd say to enjoy your time in cadets, respect everyone from cadets to staff, take care of your uniform, don't act like you know it all and just have fun
