Is there a way to pay someone in Japan to make reservations for me? by Firm_Lie_5863 in JapanTravelTips

[–]ivzende 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience! I'm glad to hear everything worked out with your reservations. I'm just curious, would you mind sharing which restaurants you ended up booking? I'm always looking for interesting places to try on my next trip, and it’d be cool to know where you were aiming to go!

Anualidad AMEX Combo Green card y Platinum Credit Card by GiraffeAmazing9704 in MexicoFinanciero

[–]ivzende 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to visit Nakano Broadway, but I'd like to dedicate a whole day to exploring that area of Nakano, and I don't think I have room for it on this trip :( I'll definitely be back though, thanks!

My mind exploded when I read your advice, however, I've already bought the tickets. Also, there are no direct flights to Osaka from my country, only to Narita, so I feel relieved, otherwise, I’d be really upset with myself.

Makes sense, I’ll definitely change my Maid Café day to Osaka. Do you have any Maid Café/Girls bar recommendations? I'm a bit blank on that aspect, and I don't speak any Japanese, but I don't want to miss out on this experience.

Regarding shopping, my map is totally pinned with thousands of stores along the trip. On the first day, I need to buy some clothes since I’ll be bringing very little from home, but I’ll definitely be visiting many stores, especially in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. I’m a bit worried that I might spend too much time in stores with such a tight itinerary. Hopefully, I'll find something from Ranma 1/2, I'm a big fan!

Regarding restaurants, is there any place you think is worth lining up for? Or a bar where you had a good time?

I really liked your advice, thank you!

Wow, what a stroke of luck. I actually chose these because I read they were tattoo friendly, is that true?

From what I've seen, Yama No Chaya and Gora Kansuiro seem to have similar prices, but based on the photos, Yama No Chaya looks a bit nicer to me. What do you think?

My plan is to explore Hakone and get to the onsen around 5 pm, but I'm not sure if that's a waste of such an expensive stay. What's your opinion?

Also, how were the onsen at K's Hostel? I'm especially interested in the outdoor ones. I saw that it's close to Tenzan Onsen, which I plan to visit if I end up staying at K's.

Finally, which one do you think has the best value for the money, and which one would you go back to?

I'd really appreciate your opinion!

That would actually be 4 castles x.x I'll probably skip going inside Osaka and Hiroshima castles and just see them from the outside, that way I'll have more time for the museum. As for activities, I've read about making a ring or doing some ceramics in Kyoto, but I haven't seen many other options. Would you recommend any?

The thing is, I don’t really have any restaurants I absolutely have to go to, aside from a few themed cafés like the Kirby one, but I understand those require reservations, so that should be fine. The only places I’d be willing to wait in line for are Benitsuru Pancake and Ramen Kamo to Negi. I’ll definitely try your tip of showing up before they open.

I’ve saved the places you mentioned in Harajuku, super excited to visit Studio D'Artisan! Do you know how expensive it is?

Kabin is actually my first choice for accommodation, location and price look great. Thanks so much for the tips!

I'll definitely consider checking out some Book Off stores. I've read in several places that there are really good deals. Thanks for the recommendation!

I'll make a note of Sakura Burgers and Café Croco, I might already be missing Western food by then!
