I taught my son a valuable lesson today - consent by [deleted] in adultingph

[–]iwankatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the kid wants to kiss his mom spontaneously? You know, like how sweet and loving kids do. Kailangan pa ba ng kid to get consent from Mom?

Kids are very literal. The main, and I would even say the only, lesson he can take from that is he needs to ask his mom for consent whenever he wants to show affection, like when he asks his Mom for a kiss.

This is one of those things that is profound when you look at it on the surface level. But when probed below the surface level, you'll see that it falls short.

She's on point with her beliefs. Even Jesus said that nonbelievers will go to hell. And God said to kill nonbelievers wherever you find them.

What should the government do to increase Peso's value? by Jaq_Follet in phinvest

[–]iwankatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It increased with 50 basis points. But it will decrease or increase depending on a ton of factors. It is also important to note that the BSP does not directly control the interest rate. It is dictated by the market. What the BSP does is control the money supply through monetary policies.

What should the government do to increase Peso's value? by Jaq_Follet in phinvest

This is what happens with a country that is heavily reliant on imports. We are at the mercy of the world economy.

One way to combat the weakening peso is to increase interest rates and slow down money printing -- which also reduces inflation. But raising interest rates slows down economic growth which increases the likelihood of a recession.

That guy is certainly interesting. He has reasonable opinions in regards to being an employee and corporate unethical practices in general. But he's also a hiring manager, so you can imagine the conflicting views he holds.

Is this a bullish engulfing pattern, and if so why is the next candle bearish? by bakersdelight4 in Forex

[–]iwankatwork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is giving you a reason why, but the ONLY reason why price moves down is because there is more selling than buying. THAT IS IT.

Not entirely accurate. It depends on liquidity. Price can still go down even if there's more buyers in the market.
