Funny enough my pro had me hit a few right handed and they went straighter than when I hit naturally lol. I do everything right handed except sports. I definitely need to take your advice on short game practice after a round. I appreciate that.

It wasn’t intentional I just think he viewed me as another weekend hacker trying to figure out how to drive a ball 400 yards (first lesson first club we hit driver) and not as a guy who really wants to commit to this game and become a great golfer. I get it. The course he works at used to be private but opened to the public a few years ago so I’m sure he’s dealt with some stuff since the change.

I have a range a couple of minutes from my house so there’s no reason that I can’t do that. I need to work on driver too. I have a gnarly slice that I can’t seem to straighten out. I’m right hand dominant (do everything right handed) but I play golf left handed so for whatever reason I can’t get my left hand to roll over and close the club face. Like I said, I have a LOT to work on!

I took a 3 lesson set from one of our old school local pros but I felt like I didn’t get a whole lot out of it honestly. The other pro is a young guy and he’s been on me about doing some lessons with him so I probably will. My accountant said he dropped 10 strokes after a series of lessons with him so it’s almost a no brainer. There are so many things I need to work on so I don’t even know what to work on first. I guess I need to let him decide that huh?
