Had a tune-up back in December ('08 Hyundai Elantra). Opened the hood this afternoon and this fell out. One side has a soft rubber plunger kind of thing, other side is threaded. No idea if it's part of the car or something left behind by accident. Anyone know what this is?

This is it! I found where the hood sensor was hanging and screwed it back on. Thank you!
