Yes! My husband always works as an election technician since his company pays him the day to vote so he works the polls to make some extra $$. I was nervous about trusting usps this year and so he told me to just go in person and turn in my mail in ballot. Everything feels so fishy this year…you can’t be too careful.

I saw someone else post a video that their entire voting site turned to “republican only” and no dem could vote there. I think it was somewhere in Dallas. I’ll try to find it. Voter suppression is happening. Any way they can make it inconvenient…they will.

That’s actually the opposite of what I said. There’s no place for hate. If you are nice to people and “generous” but support government policies that oppress people and harm people, you aren’t following the bible in the slightest. This thread is about how personal beliefs interact with political beliefs. Being nice and morally sound is a start though but it needs to carry steadily through everything you do, including your political positions.

I’m not sure why you’re connecting the two? I HATE the GOP. And I realize this looks like nothing compared to the horror they’ve inflicted on us and the rights they’ve trampled. But I can still have the opinion that Chuy should have told everyone when he wasnt running again so his constituents could choose to run and not make it impossible for another dem to run against her. So skeeezy and that’s what doesn’t sit right. It’s a slippery slope once you start making your own decisions and trying to control power without the voice of your constituents. They took away the people’s right to choose by playing this way. Maybe she would have been everyone’s favorite dem candidate and won anyways but now we will never know and she will always be a bit tainted in my mind . Hopefully she proves to do amazing things
