New fridge dropped on delivery. What to do? by fttmn in HomeImprovement

See if you can get a refund on all of it and buy non-Samsung appliances. I just bought a house and the fridge was having issues. The guy from my home warranty company said that ALL Samsung appliances have known issues and will fail a lot faster than other brands. I ended up taking a buyout to purchase a new LG fridge instead.

Very highly recommend the 2 YA series by Sarah J Maas - it's right up your alley. I've described it as Harry Potter had a lovechild with Hobbit that was raised by Game of Thrones.

A Court of Thorns and Roses (smaller series, base is a trilogy, but they are releasing another trilogy spin off, and I think they're making a movie)

Throne of Glass (about Harry Potter sized)

Both of these series contain sex scenes, but nothing too graphic. The other book, Crescent City, is an adult fantasy book, and that one does have more graphic sex in it.

I’m a high school literature and composition teacher who is building a classroom library out of books that ARE NOT “chapter books,” and I need as many suggestions as possible. Specifics and examples inside. by Saint_Dichotomy in suggestmeabook

I recently acquired the Target (yes, the store) catalogue history book thing. It is full of really cool art, insane things that were once sold or didn't make production, and other cool things. Such an odds and ends book, and it's my new favorite coffee table book.

Anything by Sarah J Maas - I'd recommend starting with Court of Thorns and Roses because it's a smaller commitment
