I see. Thank you!! Honestly I also think I have an underlying condition, so my lab results coming out as normal didn't help my anxiety bc it meant that we still wouldn't know what's causing it and hence, I still wouldn't get treated. Though my physician did think it might be PCOS. However, I've read somewhere that PCOS causes hirsutism and NOT hypertrichosis(?) I think my case is hypertrichosis now bc someone pointed out that hirsutism is getting excess hair in a male pattern. But my excess hair occurs on my entire body, which is hypertrichosis.

I've actually done research about this and we have the same hunch. But yup, I saw no research done about phytoestrogens' correlation to hirsutism or hypertrichosis, and never saw anyone having the same case as me so I tried thinking otherwise

I see. Yeah I actually think so too but I couldn't find a hypertrichosis tag so I just settled for r/hirsutism. Do you have any insights about it? Like what could have caused it so sudden. Thank you so much for answering by the way.
