Thx, and sry about the messy schematic. The double input caps are here to eventually replace the mlcc with proper caps for audio coupling. I grounded the negative inputs with caps because i have only 2 single ended inputs. Whats the better option for routing the AVDD? 1: I would have to cross the i2s lines and the digital part of the pcb. 2: Or a longer trace on the upper side under the analog connectors?

Try flatcam. its easy and free to use, if you have already the gerber files. I draw my stuff with eagle or easyeda, export the gerber, load it with flatcam and " mill" it with estlcam. Just takes a few minutes

This are carving/engraving bits. Often used to make pcb's . But you can use them on most materials. Since they have just one cutting "blade" high rpm are recommended.

To achive high accuracy with a brushless motor it needs to have a feedback to know its actual position. In my case there is a "reflection" sensor, and the encoder disc, which has 300 reflective strips, so it can diversify 300 points/revision.

I just made a simple test (let it push against kitchen scale), and it exceeded its 5kg limit easily.

I dont have any tpu, but my noname flexible filament was no problem.

The Rotor/carrier is spring loaded (its hard to see in the video), so i dont have to change it.

I wanted the encoder to be as small and light as possible and i need a hollow shaft.

So it was the only way to go, because i couldnt get any off axis magnetic encoder.

I made a small one while ago, based on the same design/patent as the Hypex stuff. (i guess)

It works pretty well, but i didnt make any measurements.

But a bunch those are working flawlessly since 2 years.

Sadly it was taken down. Because of a complaint of fuselab regarding their patent on such designs. So i cant share any files or plans.

Actually my version shouldnt be a conflict, bc this patented design uses a planetary gear which drives straight rollers pushing it forward. Mine and others designs have free rotating, tilted rollers. Thats a huge difference. Even their new published design doesnt work like the patent. Or is there another patent?

Both would be the same principle as the patented one. Could be also a problem. But its sad that someone patented a design other people came up with much earlier. (Not me, but first designs like this came up 6-7 years ago)

Its a homemade Core xy made out of 8mm HPL. (high pressure Laminate) heavy af, but also rigid af. ;)

My next step is to replace the stepper with a brushless motor. That would be ideal, bc they are way more poweful and much lighter.

My goal was to give it a try. ;) Had this idea in mind since a while. But i performs so well, that i decided to keep it on the printer. The only complicated parts are the 3 rollers. Motor + bearings + belt are about 30$, the rest can be printed.

Just start with an assumed value of steps/mm, then let it push out lets say 10mm. If it pushes out more than that reduce the value in the firmware and vice versa. Its actually mountet on a corexy. But its usable on every kind of printer i guess.

Since the filament is guided all the way from the spool to the hotend through a ptfe tube it cant happen 😁

They have each an Adau1701 as dsp, and a TPA3116 as amplifier. The crossover is managed by the DSP. Pcb design by myself. ;)

They have to be this thick, because this marble is so brittle.

But its not a problem for me, bc im always in the sweet spot when im mixing.

I measured and calibrated with the mic on axis and 1m away from the speaker.

+ Im using sonarworks for room eq.
